Matter Dwells in a body,
Who Am I?,
A body is a set of spirits,
Body sensations try to guide eveything,
I remain as innocent as a little child Known as the ‘bow-legged Nijinsky’, Koichi Tamano was a performer with the great Tatsumi Hijikata, the founder of Butoh. At Hijikata’s studios, Tamano was influenced by some of Japan’s most avant garde artists, including Yukio Mishima, Tadanori Yokoo and Toru Takemitsu. He has collaborated with the great musician, Kitaro since 1994.
